About
Davi Guidelli is a Mechanical Engineering major at the University of Notre Dame, with a minor in Engineering Corporate Practice, expecting to graduate in 2025. Originally from Umuarama, Paraná, Brazil, he currently resides in Dillon Hall.
Davi is actively involved on campus as a member of the Idea Center Fellows Program and serves as the Apparel Commissioner for Dillon Hall. He is also engaged in research under Dr. Tengfei Luo, focusing on the fundamentals of thermal transport in materials and structures to enhance energy efficiency and electronics performance.
His internship experience includes working as a Scientific Initiation Intern at Universidade Filadelfia in Londrina, Brazil, where he researched, designed, and built an internationally-awarded water filtration system using a bamboo centrifuge to reduce contaminants in riverside water sources for low-income populations. This internship spanned from February to October 2022.
As the CubeSat Structures Chief Project Manager and as the Chief Mechanical Engineer, Davi’s favorite memory is spending Thursday nights in the EIH, collaborating with fellow members to tackle design challenges and create innovative solutions.
