Peter J. Gibbons is an Electrical Engineering major from Burr Ridge, IL, who now lives at University Edge. He is also pursuing a minor in Engineering Corporate Practice and is set to graduate in 2025.

Peter is involved in the IEEE Undergraduate Chapter and the Idea Center on campus. His internship experience includes working as an Electrification Intern at JLG in Summer 2024, a Corporate Engineer at Axium Packaging in Summer 2023, and a Project Intern at Walsh Construction in Summer 2022.

As the Cubesat Chief Electrical Engineer for IrishSat, Peter’s favorite memory is jumping up and down during finals week when they got their solar panels to power the system for the first time!
